As an IT Support Technician specializing in Point of Sale (POS) systems and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) for our Food and Beverage (F&B) company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the technology infrastructure essential for our operations. This role involves managing POS systems, ensuring data security, providing technical support for both POS and CCTV, and collaborating with other IT professionals to enhance the overall technology landscape. Key Responsibilities: POS System Management:Oversee the maintenance and functionality of POS hardware, software, and peripherals.
Conduct regular checks, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal POS system performance. CCTV System Maintenance:Manage and maintain CCTV systems, including cameras, recording devices, and monitoring software.
Conduct regular checks, updates, and troubleshoot issues to ensure the security and reliability of the CCTV infrastructure. Technical Support:Provide efficient and effective technical support for POS and CCTV systems, responding promptly to reported issues.
Collaborate with users to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions. User Training:Train F&B staff on the proper use of POS and CCTV systems, ensuring they are proficient in day-to-day operations.
Develop training materials and documentation for both systems. System Upgrades:Plan and execute upgrades for POS and CCTV systems, evaluating new technologies and features to enhance overall security and efficiency. Monitoring and Reporting:Implement monitoring tools to proactively detect issues and generate reports on POS and CCTV system performance.
Analyze reports to identify trends, anticipate potential problems, and optimize system efficiency. Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an IT Support Technician, specifically with expertise in POS and CCTV systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Knowledge of data security best practices, compliance standards, and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a fast-paced F&B environment.
• Technical proficiency in networking, connectivity, and hardware configurations for both POS and CCTV.

Education:

• A degree or certification in Information Technology or a related field is desirable.
