SOFITEL DUBAI THE OBELISK
Sofitel Dubai the Obelisk scheduled to open in the last quarter of 2019, will be Sofitel's largest property in the Middle East. The hotel will feature 501 luxury guestrooms inclusive of 86 suites and 97 serviced apartments in the heart of Dubai. A variety of trendy restaurants and bars including a contemporary Asian restaurant, a Gastro Pub, a French Brasserie and Patio will bring residents and patrons together to celebrate the French "Joie de Vivre". Guests will have the option to unwind at the So Spa and outdoor pools with private cabanas or workout in a fully-fledged fitness centre. The Position
To handle day-to-day IT operations and to provide first level support for guests.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Familiar with all the systems Opera, Micros, Windows 2003 and 2008 Servers, all windows client operating systems.
Knowledge with TCP/IP
Backup and optimizing database
Knowledge on LAN/WAN
Perform regular system's health check and capacities studies to ensure optimum performance of servers and network
Provide frontline PC and server troubleshooting
Provide In-house guest IT related matter troubleshooting
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Sound Computer knowledge in Opera System, MICROS and MS office applications etc.

Oral and written fluency in English

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology
Minimum 5 years of experience in Hospitality IT ?
Experience in Hotels systems such as Opera Cloud and Simphony Cloud ?
Experience in Server Virtualization ?
Managed a team of minimum 2 employees reporting to you ?
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 1- 2 years relevant experience
