to ensure the smooth operation, security, and reliability of all hotel IT systems. The role is responsible for system maintenance, data integrity, user support, and coordination with vendors and management to support uninterrupted hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely preventive maintenance and repair of all hotel IT equipment and systems
Coordinate quick resolution and restoration of faulty hardware, software, and systems
Ensure continuous availability of IT support for critical systems and emergencies
Manage IT consumables and ensure system requirements are always available
Establish, monitor, and maintain data backup and recovery procedures
Rebuild and restore data affected by hardware or software failures
Keep Hotel Management Systems updated as per Area IT Manager instructions
Support internal and external audits with required technical assistance
Advise management on IT improvements, upgrades, and technological advancements
Coordinate investigation and resolution of software faults and system enhancement requests
Establish emergency procedures to maintain hotel operations during system failures
Train employees on effective use of IT systems and provide user manuals
Distribute Night Audit and system-generated reports as required
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, IT standards, health & safety, and local laws
Requirements:
Previous experience in hotel IT operations
Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and IT infrastructure
Experience in data backup, recovery, and system security
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies
Locally available candidates in Qatar preferred
