Job Summary:
The IT Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the organization's technology infrastructure. This role involves supervising IT staff, managing IT projects, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing IT policies and procedures to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & Supervision

Supervise and mentor IT support staff, including helpdesk technicians, network administrators, and system analysts.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training to ensure team effectiveness.
Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.

2. IT Operations & Infrastructure Management

Oversee the maintenance and optimization of IT systems, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
Ensure proper functioning of business-critical applications (ERP, CRM, email, etc.).
Monitor system performance, security, and backups to minimize downtime.

3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Serve as an escalation point for complex IT issues and provide hands-on support when necessary.
Ensure timely resolution of helpdesk tickets and user requests.
Diagnose and resolve network, hardware, and software problems.

4. IT Security & Compliance

Implement and enforce IT security policies, including access controls, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
