Job Description

Job Purpose:

To contribute to the organization's technological advancement by researching and designing innovative IT solutions, which express a well understanding of business needs, staying informed about technology Trends, and providing technical expertise and advise on certain new technologies. Moreover, providing research on certain IT domains that aims to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and support the organization's growth through effective suggestions of latest IT technologies

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Chief Technology Officer to help understanding business needs by collaborating with stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and challenges. Analyze existing systems and identify areas for improvement. Assist in developing the IT projects budget and ensure the IT projects planning is in place. Do research and suggest innovation to stay abreast of technological trends, emerging tools, and industry best practices. Conduct deep research to explore new technologies and evaluate their potential impact on the organization. Design and develop IT solutions that align with business goals. Collaborate with IT development teams to create prototypes and proof-of-concepts. Coordinate R&D projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to project plans. Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for innovation. Participate in the IT Development Working committee and fulfil the research role as per the IT.

Development Procedure requirements:

Assist in implementation of the IT strategies, policies, and procedures Assist on prioritizing the implementation of the IT Projects based on the business requirements Test and validate new systems, features, or enhancements Evaluate performance, security, and scalability Assist in creating technical documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and process flows Present to Chief Technology Officer reports on IT Research progress periodically

Skills and Qualifications:

Degree in IT related discipline Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent and additional professional technical training/certifications in analytical skills is preferred Certification in Project Management, and hands-on experience associated with IT Infrastructure and Development Projects 1-2 years of experience in R&D in IT domains Demonstrate strong knowledge of Research Techniques and their applications as well as Experience in conducting research, experiments, and feasibility studies Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions Strong understanding of programming languages, databases, and software development Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. Arabic language is an advantage Excellent presentation and reporting skills Excellent organizational and time management skills
