Job Purpose : To lead the research, formulation, and development of new and improved condiment products (e.g., sauces, dressings, dips, pickles, chutneys), ensuring innovation, quality, scalability, and compliance with food safety regulations. Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage end-to-end product development projects in the condiments category, from concept to commercialization. Formulate and improve products to meet sensory expectations, shelf-life requirements, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, Marketing, Procurement, and Supply Chain. Manage pilot trials, production scale-ups, and product launches in coordination with manufacturing teams. Evaluate new ingredients, technologies, and processes to enhance product performance and competitiveness. Maintain detailed documentation of formulations, test results, and development reports. Conduct sensory evaluations, shelf-life testing, and consumer trials as needed. Ensure adherence to local and international food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, ISO, FDA, GSO). Mentor and guide junior R&D staff and contribute to building a high-performance innovation culture. Monitor industry trends and competitor products to identify new opportunities for growth and differentiation.
