:

Manage and maintain business and vendor relationships to successfully accomplish the plans and objectives of the unit. Lead on all technology projects across the museums, including researching, developing and implementing solutions to business owners, aiming to bridge the gap between technology and business and to effectively connect business owners with emerging technologies. The role holder must provide strategic and consultative guidance as well plan and implement requested project

Project Management : Develop and implement technology project management processes and guidelines, in line with leading practices.

Vendor Management : Lead on identifying, developing, and managing strategic vendor relationships, ensuring technology products and solutions ensuring optimal benefits from a quality and cost perspective, and develop a framework to continuously monitor contractual obligations and performance of technology vendors.

Business Partnership Management : Review and prioritize the requests from the business to ensure they align to wider initiatives regarding technologies, experience, simplification, and mandated initiatives.

Strategic Contribution : Ensure effective cascading of the functional strategy into section business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing sectional strategies

People Management : Manage the effective achievement of assigned objectives through the leadership of the Section by setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff to maximize performance.

Budgeting and Financial Planning : Manage the preparation and recommend the section budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget while ensuring all sectional activities are conducted in line with the approved guidelines

Requirements

Qualification

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or equivalent.

• Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.

• PMP or equivalent is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of which 4 must be leading people.

• Full professional English language a must

• Fluency in Arabic highly desirable

• High level of competency in relevant software applications

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage complex IT projects end to end
