JOB DESCRIPTION: .Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications; .Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks; .Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues; .Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults; .Installation, Repair, Removal, Checking, Inventory and replacing parts of Software. .SERVER: Restarting, Checking Logs, Checking Performance, Making Back Ups, Making sure that servers are up and working 24/7. .RBT (Ring Back Tone) Converting, Uploading, Checking the status and continues support and communication. .SMS Bulk: Configuration of application, refilling system, controlling customer status like adding, removing. .Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports; .Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system; .Supporting the roll-out of new applications; .Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues; .Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs; .Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate); .Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time; .Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, e.g., software developers; .Testing and evaluating new technology; .Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment. .Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components .Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. .Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations. .Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware. .Operate master consoles in order to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use. .Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records. .Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software. .Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes. .Confer with network users about how to solve existing system problems. .Train people in computer system use. .Gather data pertaining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements. .Analyze equipment performance records in order to determine the need for repair or replacement. .Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records. .Research new technology, and implement it or recommend its implementation. .Maintain an inventory of parts for emergency repairs. .Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel in order to facilitate purchases.
