Job Title:

IT Manager

Job Purpose:

To lead the IT function in implementing, managing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics (including NAV/Navision) and POS systems within a retail environment. The IT Manager will ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of technology solutions that support retail operations and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the implementation, customization, and support of

Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision

across all retail operations. Oversee

POS systems

(hardware and software), ensuring seamless integration with Dynamics NAV and other enterprise systems. Manage the IT infrastructure and applications critical to the day-to-day operations of retail stores, warehouses, and central offices. Coordinate with retail, finance, supply chain, and operations teams to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Supervise internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of projects, upgrades, and system maintenance. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and company policies. Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or risk mitigation. Develop training programs and user documentation for staff using NAV and POS systems. Plan and manage IT budgets, licensing, and vendor relationships related to Dynamics and POS platforms. Stay updated on new developments and best practices in Microsoft Dynamics, retail technology, and digital transformation.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in

Information Technology

Computer Science

Business Information Systems

, or a related field. Minimum

3 years of experience

managing or implementing

Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision

in a

retail

environment. Strong understanding of

retail operations

, inventory control, pricing, promotions, and customer engagement. Experience integrating NAV with other systems (e.g., e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, CRM). Proven leadership experience in managing IT teams and third-party vendors. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, databases, and data security. Familiarity with

Power BI

Power Platform

, or other Microsoft ecosystem tools is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
