About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

IT Manager

to lead and oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's information systems, hardware, software, and communication networks across project sites and corporate offices. The ideal candidate will provide strong technical leadership, ensure compliance with company IT policies, and drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance project execution, asset management, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with company and project goals. Evaluate, recommend, and deploy IT systems, software, and infrastructure to support roadworks and maintenance operations. Manage the IT department budget and oversee servers, networks, communications systems, and databases across all sites. Ensure reliable connectivity between project offices, field teams, and central systems. Supervise the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware & software. Support the rollout of asset management, GPS tracking, and maintenance monitoring systems. Develop and enforce IT policies, cybersecurity, and data-protection protocols. Oversee data backup, disaster recovery, and business-continuity plans. Maintain secure handling of company and project data in line with Qatar's regulations and company standards. Coordinate with IT suppliers, service providers, and telecom partners. Manage software licensing, renewals, and service-level agreements (SLAs). Provide reports on IT system performance, usage, and continuous improvement plans. Lead and mentor the IT team; maintain an efficient helpdesk and troubleshooting process.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (master's preferred). Minimum 12 years of experience in IT management -- ideally within construction, infrastructure, or maintenance projects. Strong expertise in network systems, ERP software, database management, GPS & asset monitoring tools, and Microsoft 365. Proven experience managing multi-site IT infrastructure. Familiarity with Qatar's data protection, MOI, and Ashghal digital compliance requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, and project-management skills.
