Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable
Networking & Cybersecurity Lecturer
with 2-3 years of professional experience to join our academic team. The role requires delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring students, and ensuring they gain practical knowledge and industry-relevant skills in networking and cybersecurity.Key Responsibilities
Teach courses in
network administration, cybersecurity fundamentals, ethical hacking, and digital forensics
using student-centered methods. Prepare and updatecourse materials, lesson plans, and lab exercises
to align with industry standards and academic requirements. Assess student learning throughassignments, examinations, and hands-on projects
, providing timely and constructive feedback. Utilize modern teaching tools such asnetwork simulators, cybersecurity labs, and LMS platforms
. Guide and mentor students in developingcritical thinking, problem-solving, and practical cybersecurity skills
. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and integrate emerging technologies. Stay updated with advancements incloud security, penetration testing, and cyber defense strategies
through professional development.Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
.2-3 years of experience
in networking and/or cybersecurity (industry or academic). Strong knowledge ofnetwork protocols, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, and security tools
. Familiarity with certifications such asCCNA, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar
(preferred). Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Passion for teaching and mentoring students.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
