Job Description

Oversee the development and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and managing the IT team. Also responsible for aligning IT initiatives with the broader business objectives, enhancing operational efficiency, mitigating risks, and building continuous improvement within IdeaCrate.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure Management

Lead the design, installation, and configuration of IT infrastructure equipment, to meet the specific and evolving requirements of the business.Oversee the development and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring adherence to industry standards. Implement security, integrity, and backup procedures for safeguarding critical IT systems. Spearhead the review, design, and implementation of Cloud solutions, network architectures, and server infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance. Uphold the availability, resilience, and reliability of the IT infrastructure, to mitigate potential disruptions and ensure business continuity. Nurture a culture of innovation within the IT infrastructure team, encouraging exploration and adoption of emerging technologies and methodologies.

Project Management

Coordinate and oversee all phases of IT projects, from development to implementation, ensuring seamless integration with organizational objectives. Consistently deliver high-quality solutions on schedule and within the organization's allocated budget. Evaluate service proposals to identify and address business needs, and prioritize projects based on strategic importance and resource allocation. Manage all facets of IT activities, ensuring the delivery of superior quality services to end users, while providing clear and constructive guidance to the IT team. Prioritize and allocate resources, nurturing an environment of collaboration, and meet project deadlines while exceeding expectations. Provide transparent and informative project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership, facilitating open communication.

Strategic Planning and Oversight

Develop and implement a IT strategic plan that aligns with business objectives, ensuring that the technological roadmap positioned for long-term success. Provide insightful and data-driven strategic advice to the CEO, facilitating informed decision-making processes. Monitor industry trends and technological developments, keeping IdeaCrate at the forefront of innovation and maintaining competitiveness. Conduct assessments of IT performance against strategic goals, for continuous improvement & adaptability in response to changing requirements. Establish KPIs that serve as benchmarks for evaluating the success and efficiency of implemented IT strategies.

Team Leadership and Development

Exhibit leadership skills in the management of a diverse team, by providing strategic direction and overseeing their day-to-day activities. Deliver training, support, guidance, and constructive for growth of IT team members, building a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement. Cultivate a collaborative and innovative work culture within the IT department, to meet the challenges of a dynamic technological landscape. Conduct regular performance reviews, setting meaningful professional development goals for team members and creating opportunities for career advancement. Address personnel issues proactively and promote a sense of shared responsibility and accountability among team members. Encourage and facilitate knowledge sharing within the IT team, creating avenues for the exchange of ideas and expertise to bolster collective skills and capabilities.

Educational qualifications

: Any Undergraduate Course in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline

MBA (IT) preferable. Relevant certifications in PMP (Project Management Professional), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), or relevant vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco Certified Network Professional), may be preferred.

Relevant experience :

8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in successfully leading IT teams, managing projects, and implementing IT strategies

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
