We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled
IT Functional Support Specialist
with hands-on experience in
Odoo ERP
to support and optimize our IT systems and business applications. This role bridges the gap between technical teams and business users, resolving complex functional issues and ensuring our systems align with operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for end-users requiring functional support for IT systems, especially Odoo ERP.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across business applications, including ERP (Odoo), CRM, HR, Finance, and custom modules.
Collaborate with development teams to analyze and resolve issues that require technical investigation or customization in Odoo.
Analyze complex business requirements and design scalable, functional solutions within Odoo and related systems.
Assist in system configuration, workflow design, and data validation to support evolving business processes.
Conduct end-user training, create documentation, and maintain an internal knowledge base.
Support UAT, change requests, module testing, and system upgrades or enhancements in collaboration with stakeholders.
Monitor system performance and recommend technical and functional improvements.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies and data privacy regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in IT functional support, with specific expertise in
Odoo ERP
(functional and technical sides).
Strong understanding of Odoo modules (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc.) and ability to debug or work with Odoo Studio, XML, or Python-based customizations.
Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to quickly identify, assess, and resolve issues in complex business and system environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in system administration or light technical development within Odoo (views, workflows, reports).
ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL and basic scripting (Python preferred).
Experience with business analysis or change management.
Understanding of integrations between Odoo and third-party applications/APIs.
