We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient
IT Network Estimator
with
2 to 4 years of experience
in IT network estimation, cost analysis, and infrastructure design. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate project costing and supporting proposal development for current and upcoming IT infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate
cost estimates
for IT network infrastructure projects (LAN/WAN, structured cabling, wireless, switching & routing systems).
Review and interpret
network design drawings
, schematics, and technical specifications.
Collaborate with internal teams including IT, procurement, and project management to gather scope and material requirements.
Assist in the preparation and submission of
bids, RFQs, and technical proposals
.
Analyze and evaluate
vendor quotations
, preparing comprehensive comparison sheets for management review.
Track and manage updates or revisions in estimation documents and maintain clear records.
Ensure estimates align with client expectations, project timelines, and budget constraints.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology
, or a related discipline.
2-4 years
of proven experience in
IT network estimation
, including cost analysis for network infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of
LAN/WAN
,
structured cabling
,
switching
,
routing
,
wireless systems
, and IT hardware components.
Proficiency in estimation tools and software such as
MS Excel
,
AutoCAD
, and industry-specific platforms.
Solid understanding of
network diagrams
and
technical documentation
.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Strong communication and coordination abilities across multidisciplinary teams.
