KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Functional Accountabilities
- Institute protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects
- Provide advice on the most suitable IT choices
- Provide technical support or training for systems and networks
- Act as link between end users and higher-level support
- Install and configure hospitality software and hardware (PCs, Laptops, printers, network connections, VOIP, RMS, Messershmitt, Qburst, etc\xe2\x80\xa6)
- Monitor system and network performance
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration
- Performance maintenance activities (e.g. backups )
- Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Demonstrate compliance to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value-driven culture within the organization.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.
- Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports to meet department requirements, policies, and quality standards.
FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY:
- Operates within the framework and boundaries of Paramount/DAMAC policies as well as overall organizational and governance frameworks.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualification
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong background in handling and manage the hospitality systems (RMS, Qburst, Messershmitt, IPTV, VOIP, etc)
- Knowledgeable in CCNA.
- 2 years of relevant experience in IT hospitality.
