Job Summary:

The

IT Engineer

is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of an organization's IT systems. This includes managing network infrastructure, hardware, software, security, and user support. The IT Admin ensures that all systems are operating efficiently and securely, troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Management: Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet connections. Ensure the stability and reliability of network infrastructure. System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and software applications. Oversee system updates, patches, and backups to maintain system health. Security Management: Implement and manage security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus software, and encryption. Regularly assess the network for vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards. User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Train employees on how to use software and systems effectively. Server & Database Administration: Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including file servers, web servers, and databases. Ensure proper server performance, uptime, and backups. Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement backup strategies. Regularly test backup systems and disaster recovery procedures to prevent data loss and ensure quick system restoration. Hardware Management: Oversee the procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and networking devices. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of IT infrastructure, processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records for compliance and future reference. Collaboration & Project Management: Work with other departments to understand their IT needs and ensure technology solutions align with business goals. Assist in IT-related projects, such as system migrations, software deployments, and network upgrades.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
