Our client, a well-established group of companies in (Equity Investment, Construction and Real estate) is looking for an IT Engineer to look after 50+ end users for their Sharjah office.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for resolving incidents and problems associated with computer hardware and software, provide technical support, advice, and assistance to 50+ End Users.

Own support tickets and troubleshooting within our organization for Odoo (ERP), tools and services.

Provide technical support and assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Setting up Devices / Accounts for new users. (Laptop, Email, Printer etc.).

Act as primary Helpdesk contact for providing support to the end users for all IT related issues and provide the resolution by remote access, by phone, by e-mail or in person.

Record, track and monitor IT related user complaints. Ensure that user complaints are handled promptly and resolved effectively.

Imaging, configuration and rollout of PCs, notebooks and other workstations.

Installation, troubleshooting and managing of computers, softwares, printer, switches, routers, firewall and wireless, camera, CCTV, Biometrics etc.

Responsible for maintaining the company\'s IT infrastructure, network, servers and security systems.

Responsible for investigating and diagnosing computer hardware and software related issues, network problems, making recommendations for improving the company\'s IT systems and carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions.

Update and track records of computer hardware and software license related inventory.

Escalate requests to the appropriate party, as needed.

Provide support to end users with relocation activities, including colleague moves and office relocations.

Prepare and distribute relevant documentation and follow internal processes and procedures.

Maintain system guidelines and update various policies and procedures.

Conduct briefings and demonstrations for users to enhance system productivity.

Performs other duties as requested by superiors as and when required.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information System, Computer Technology or related field.

• Minimum of 3- 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in related field.

• Hands on experience in the installation and troubleshooting of IT hardware, Software and End user support.

• Good Knowledge of Windows operating systems including Windows 10 upgrade process.

• Proficient in Office 365, Azure Cloud, Active Directory and MS Teams.

• Knowledge about ERP applications \xe2\x80\x93 Odoo. Knowledge would be a big plus.

• Fluent in English both in oral and verbal communication.

• Basic ITIL knowledge is a plus and Certifications like MCSA, MCSE, CCNA preferred.

• Result oriented, organized, good time management and can handle confidential information.
