RESPONSIBILITIES: . Oversees and maintains all infrastructure, servers, and installed systems for the organization in accordance with corporate policies. . Knowledge of databases, LAN/WAN networks, and patch management . Actively maintain the highest levels of infrastructure and system availability . Offers technical assistance to remote and on-site users to resolve any problems that have been reported. . Control server and data backup, retrieval, and storage processes on disk, tape, or the cloud. . Setting up user accounts and managing access. . Test application and network performance for identified bottlenecks, identify viable improvements, and put those adjustments into place. . Checking networks and computer systems for bugs, faults, and viruses to verify the integrity of the data. . Looks into user issues, evaluates potential solutions, and implements the best ones. . Assists with the configuration and installation of equipment, such as desktop and laptop computers, printers, network hardware, firewalls, backup programs, and desk phones. . Examining network infrastructure and data to spot inefficiencies and issues. . Wireless system configuration and equipment installation/maintenance skills. . Creating and constructing the infrastructure for computer systems and networks. . Supervising the creation, setup, configuration, and management of computer systems. . Resolving technical problems and creating workable solutions. . Creating operational manuals, data reports, and network analytics. . Preserves the privacy of the data processed, saved, or accessed by the end-user on the network. . Remaining current with the newest developments in protocols, best practices, and technology. . Keeping track of project finances, schedules, and paperwork. . Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues or make new purchases. QUALIFICATIONS: . A minimum of five years of systems engineering experience. . Strong technical support for a variety of operating systems, including Windows, Mac, and Linux/Unix. . Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 management and support . In-depth familiarity with switching, routing, and VLANs, as well as DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP . Knowledge of database administration systems. . Knowledge of system engineering and system monitoring . Thorough familiarity with networking standards like TCP, IP, and OSI models. . Excellent English communication abilities. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a similar field.
