IT Coordinator (F&B and Retail Operations)Job Summary:

The IT Coordinator will manage and support IT infrastructure across multiple restaurant and butchery outlets. This includes maintaining POS systems, payment terminals, ERP integrations, IP cameras, biometric systems, and ensuring reliable connectivity between outlets and the head office. The role requires a hands-on professional with the ability to handle multi-location IT support in a fast-paced food and retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

POS & ERP Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot Point of Sale (POS) systems (e.g., Touche, Dynamics POS, Foodics) and ensure proper data syncing with ERP (e.g., WebProlific, Odoo, Dynamics 365).

Outlet IT Operations: Provide on-site and remote support for restaurants and butchery locations covering printers, thermal receipt machines, digital scales, barcode systems, and payment terminals.

Hardware & Network Maintenance: Manage internet routers, access points, and switches in each outlet. Resolve network issues and ensure connectivity to central servers or VPN systems (e.g., Tailscale).

Surveillance & Access Control: Maintain and monitor IP CCTV systems and biometric attendance devices. Coordinate with vendors for repairs and access rights management.

Asset Management: Maintain inventory of IT equipment across all locations, tag devices, and update documentation regularly.

IT Setup for New Branches: Coordinate structured cabling, device installation, and IT room setup during new branch openings or relocations.

User Support & Training: Provide basic training to outlet staff on POS, printers, and basic troubleshooting. Act as first-level IT support for day-to-day operational issues.

Data Backup & Security: Ensure outlet devices are connected to secure networks, with data backup protocols in place. Implement endpoint security and basic firewall rules.

Reporting & Coordination: Prepare IT performance and maintenance reports. Coordinate with accounts and operations teams for IT-related integration needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

2-5 years of experience in IT support for food & beverage, supermarket, or retail environments.

Strong understanding of POS systems, barcode/scale integrations, and ERP software.

Knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking (IP, DHCP, static reservation), and printer management.

Familiarity with VPN setup, IP camera configuration, and biometric systems (e.g., Hikvision, ZKTeco).

Ability to travel to different outlets and work under pressure during peak operational hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
