About the Role:

We are hiring on behalf of a prestigious bank in Dubai seeking a

highly skilled IT Buyer

to support its Procurement function. This is a

contract role with the possibility of extension

based on performance and project requirements. The ideal candidate will bring

deep expertise in IT procurement

, particularly in

software and professional services

, and a

strong understanding of banking sector standards and compliance

.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead

end-to-end procurement

for IT categories including Software Licensing, SaaS, Cloud Solutions, and Professional Services. Drive

strategic sourcing initiatives

to support IT transformation and innovation projects. Develop and manage

category strategies

in alignment with IT and business objectives. Analyze

total cost of ownership (TCO)

and lead

negotiations

to deliver maximum value. Identify and implement

cost optimization

and

process improvement

initiatives. Manage

vendor lifecycle

, including onboarding, performance reviews, and renewals. Execute all procurement transactions in alignment with the bank's

governance and risk frameworks

. Act as a key liaison between

IT, legal, finance, and compliance teams

to ensure seamless procurement cycles. Develop

procurement dashboards and KPIs

for continuous performance tracking. Ensure data integrity and contract compliance within the

ERP or procurement platform

(e.g., Oracle, SAP, Ariba, etc.). Support

internal and external audits

, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting. Monitor and ensure compliance with

cybersecurity and data privacy requirements

in IT contracts.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree

in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or related field (Master's or certifications such as CIPS, PMP, ITIL preferred).

5-8 years of experience

in IT procurement, preferably in the

banking or financial services sector

. Strong knowledge of

contract law

,

vendor management

, and

IT sourcing best practices

. Experience with

procurement tools

and e-sourcing platforms. Excellent

analytical, negotiation, and communication

skills. Ability to manage

multiple priorities

in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Knowledge of

UAE procurement laws

and local supplier market is a plus.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
