Job Description

The IT Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the retail organization's IT infrastructure (ie HO and stores). This includes servers, storage, network devices, security systems, call center' systems and related components. The role requires a proactive individual who can ensure system availability, performance, and security, and who can respond to incidents and support requests efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and upgrades Develop, implement, and manage backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data protection and business continuity Implement and enforce security policies and procedures, manage firewalls, and ensure compliance with security standards Familiarity with network protocols (DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and cloud services. Oversee storage solutions, including SAN/NAS/Azure Cloud, ensuring data integrity, availability, and efficient storage allocation. Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Alcatel), to ensure reliable and secure network operations Manage and maintain physical and virtual servers (NUTANIX ,VMware, Hyper-V, Fujitsu), ensuring optimal performance and availability. Handle Active Directory (AD) group policy configurations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures Managing MS 365 & E-mail security Managing antivirus software & endpoint security (Tend micro-Apex one) Coordinate with responsible teams for procurement, support, and maintenance of hardware and software Manage and participate in infrastructure projects, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of new technologies and solutions. Provide technical support for infrastructure-related issues, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network problems Knowledge in MS SQL server installation and configuration. Knowledge in MS Dynamics is a plus.

Requirements

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration or a similar role Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
