Hiring! IT Administrator / IT Specialist - KIZAD, Abu Dhabi

Seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator / IT Specialist to manage our entire IT infrastructure and ensure smooth, secure operations across hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity domains.

# Key Responsibilities:

> Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, laptops, printers and peripherals

> Network Administration: Design, implement, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/VLAN, firewalls, VPNs, switches, and wireless networks

> System & Software Support: Install, upgrade, and support operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and business-critical applications

> Cybersecurity: Implement and monitor firewalls, antivirus/anti-malware solutions, intrusion detection, vulnerability assessments, patch management, and data encryption

> Data Backup & Recovery: Establish backup routines, perform regular restores, and maintain disaster-recovery plans

> User Support & Training: Provide 2nd/3rd-level support, troubleshoot issues, and train staff on IT best practices

> Vendor & Asset Management: Liaise with IT vendors, manage software/hardware lifecycles, maintain accurate asset inventory

> Policy & Compliance: Develop and enforce IT policies, ensure compliance with UAE data protection and cybersecurity regulations

# Requirements:

> 4+ years of hands-on IT administration experience, preferably within the UAE

> Strong expertise in networking (Cisco, MikroTik, Fortinet, etc.) and Windows/Linux server environments

> Proven track record in cybersecurity (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security)

> Solid understanding of cloud services (Azure/AWS) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)

> Experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Acronis, etc.) and DR planning

> Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure

> Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus

> Valid UAE driving license preferred
