Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled

IT Administrator

to manage and support our organization's IT infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operation of hardware, software, networks, and user support, while maintaining system security and uptime.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management

Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, laptops, and network devices. Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN. Ensure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery systems are in place and functioning.

System Administration

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across systems. Maintain and update software, operating systems, and security patches. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues. Implement and maintain antivirus, firewall, and other cybersecurity measures.

User Support & Training

Provide technical support to staff for IT-related issues (hardware, software, network). Train employees on IT policies, best practices, and new systems. Maintain documentation for IT procedures, inventories, and user manuals.

Vendor & Asset Management

Liaise with IT vendors and service providers for maintenance and procurement. Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper licensing compliance. Evaluate and recommend new hardware, software, or IT solutions to improve efficiency.

Compliance & Security

Ensure IT systems comply with company policies, local regulations, and industry best practices. Maintain data security, confidentiality, and access control standards. Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

3-7 years

of experience as an IT Administrator or similar role. Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, and networking concepts. Hands-on experience with VPNs, firewalls, cloud services, and cybersecurity tools. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, ERP systems, and backup solutions. Experience in UAE/GCC market is a plus.
