Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consultation based on Internal Shari'ah Supervision Committee (ISSC) and Higher Shari'ah Authority (HSA) resolutions regarding contracts, documents, and other aspects related to Islamic products and services. Review product manuals, policies, internal procedures, marketing and promotional materials to ensure Shari'ah compliance and alignment with the resolutions issued by the HSA and the ISSC. Support in Shari'ah Compliance, Shari'ah Research, and ISSC Secretariate.
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
Bachelors/Masters degree in Shari'ah, Islamic Finance, Business Studies. Shari'ah Certification from AAOIFI such as CSAA, CIPA, CPSS or Islamic banking certification from CIBAFI 5 years of experience working in Islamic banking out of which at least 2 years in Shari'ah Department Strong understanding of Shari'ah governance requirements, and Islamic window regulations. * Working knowledge of Arabic and Strong competency of English.
