Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and execute the installation, testing, and commissioning of irrigation systems (mainlines, submains, laterals, valves, and sprinklers). Read and interpret irrigation drawings, layouts, and as-built plans. Coordinate with engineers and site supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of irrigation works. Monitor daily site activities and assign tasks to irrigation technicians and laborers. Inspect and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution and pressure levels. Identify and troubleshoot system faults, leaks, and blockages. Ensure correct material usage and report shortages or damages. Verify and ensure quality of work as per approved specifications and standards. Maintain records of work progress, material consumption, and site reports. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations on site.

Requirements

Diploma or Technical Certificate in Agriculture, Irrigation, or a related field. Proven experience in irrigation works within the landscaping industry. Strong knowledge of various irrigation systems (manual and automatic). Ability to read technical drawings and layouts. Good leadership and communication skills. Valid UAE driving license (preferred).

Skills

Knowledge of pumps, valves, solenoids, and controllers. Familiar with drip and sprinkler irrigation systems. Team management and coordination. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
