A leading Freight Forwarding company in Dubai is looking for an Inventory Specialist to join their team. Location: Dubai Experience: Over 5-7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Warehouse and Inventory management in UAE. Qualifications and Knowledge: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Logistics, Operations / Warehouse Management. Knowledge and experience in Ms office, Valid UAE Driving License. Job Skills:
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock control best practices
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management software, inventory tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Physical Requirement - Stand, walk, and work in a warehouse environment for extended periods.
Details: Fashion Retail Merchandise - Stock Management, Receiving and Dispatches:
  • Receive, record GRN\xe2\x80\x99s and maintain stock items using computer software.
  • Shipment Receipt \xe2\x80\x93 Unpack high value items and stock them on shelves based on a certain grouping logic, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Item labelling and grouping - The warehouse space must be properly bifurcated into sections or product categories and labels should be stuck on the shelves and on the products such that it allows for quick retrieval of the items.
Primary tagging is the responsibility of the 3PL warehouse crew, however checking suitability as per our requirements is the specialist\xe2\x80\x99s responsibility.
  • Dispatch Operations \xe2\x80\x93 Pick and pack merchandise based on store guidelines and coordinate with couriers or delivery companies to arrange delivery and ensure to obtain and keep a record of all the Proofs of Deliveries. 2. Retail Merchandise - Transfer In (Receipts) & Transfer Out (Dispatch)
Record Creation and Tracking:
  • For all transfer-in to the warehouse, track the status of shipments in transit and report the receipt of such items to the sending store after verification of quantities.
  • For all transfer-outs, pick items as per a pick list and pack based on client guidelines.
  • Create Airway Bills for all transfer-outs and send pre-alerts to stores and track till the items are received at the stores and the system is updated by the receiving store.
  • Interact with couriers for incoming stock or deliveries to designated locations.
