Job Summary:
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records, and minimizing discrepancies. This role involves monitoring stock movements, coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams, and implementing best practices for inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:
• Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical stock.
• Data Accuracy & Reporting:
• Update and maintain inventory records in ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Generate reports on stock levels, turnover, and obsolescence.
• Analyze inventory trends and recommend improvements.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify inefficiencies in inventory processes and suggest solutions.
• Implement best practices for inventory control and warehouse organization.
• Support automation initiatives (e.g., barcode/RFID systems).
• Coordination & Communication:
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to forecast demand.
• Liaise with suppliers and 3PL providers to ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Assist in returns management and defective stock handling.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• Experience: 5-8 years in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Knowledge of inventory KPIs (e.g., turnover ratio, stock accuracy).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and teamwork.
