Overview

**This position will support LOGCAP and is contingent upon award**

Under the supervision of the Supply and Service, Director, this position is an augmentation providing supplemental support as specified by the Government for Logistics and Supply operations conducted in support of the CENTCOM Mission.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

+ Research, analyze information, solve problems, and recommend

+ Responsible for pulling data from Logistics Information Systems and generating reports regarding Maintenance Operations (ESR, Readiness Trends, LLP, SSL etc) for both APS and Supported units in

+ Serves as the point of contact for the Critical Item List (CIL), which is used to expedite critical parts for the Readiness reports through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

+ Maintains interface with NICP commodity managers to expedite critical due ins, reduce ASL zero balances, and improve operational readiness (OR) posture.

+ Research and manage transactions written to the Release Strategy in GCSS-Army.

+ Review and manage Material Release Planning (MRP) Exceptions (ZMD06/MD06) IAW GCSS-Army

+ Monitors the performance measures of supported SSA's in GCSS

+ Research overdue deliveries, only if prohibiting a customer order from going National, identify issues to the SSA Accountable Officers, and take corrective action using "ZPODCHK" IAW GCSS-Army5%

+ Research troubled material statuses by contacting NICP Item Managers and vendors as required for maintenance

+ Researches and takes corrective actions on Exception Messages in GCSS

+ Researches and provides recommendations on ATFL

+ Responsible for daily operations support and generating products that provide visibility of BDE operations and

+ Manages requisitions over 60 days and ORILS

+ Manage-by-exception and resolve any material management problems.

+ Conducts research on critical due-in transactions affecting unit operational readiness posture.

+ Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

+ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required.

+ High School Graduate

+ Must be able to maintain USG Network access, CAC and SIPR Token requirement.

+ A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's License and Kuwait Driver's License are required.

+ Must have a Secret Clearance

+ Must sign Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

+ Experience:

+ Must have a minimum of five years' experience in property accountability, supply chain management, and logistics.

+ Military or equivalent civilian training in the Army Supply System is strongly desired.

+ Skills:

+ Knowledge of supply chain management principles, contract, and organic repair procedures, and interservice procedures, techniques, and practices to include sustainment procedures and the peculiarities of requirements development.

+ Must understand GCSS-Army and be capable of utilizing available resources to identify the codes that make up a system function transaction.

+ Versatile in data management, compilation and conversion using application software such as MS Office and data-based software

+ Strong interpersonal skills, including a professional demeanor, are required.

+ Ability to exercise discretion and good judgement is required.

+ Ability to analyze historical data, reported usage, trends, failure data, past and future program data and select the appropriate demand planning methods for assigned items.

+ Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required.

+ Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.

+ High-level organizational and planning skills, so that workflow is managed and accurate is required.

+ High level proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook and ALL Microsoft applications is required.

+ Knowledge of requirements, repair, disposal, distribution, and spares leveling as well as logistics planning, programming, and budgeting systems.

+ Skill in applying specialized analytical methods and techniques to resolve difficult inventory management problems and issues.

+ Knowledge of logistics processes, provisioning procedures and peculiarities of provisioning requirements development as well as tactical and strategic approaches to supply chain management.

+ GCSS-Army or SAP base knowledge and experience

+ Working Environment:

+ Indoor and/or outdoor warehouse environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

+ Physical Activities:

+ Will include prolong sitting and exposure to Computer Vision Syndrome

+ May be required to work an uncommon schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

+ Must be able to work extended hours and evenings, as mission requires.

+ Must have professional appearance

+ Required to observe all safety, security, fire, and health requirements for office, warehouse, and outside environment

+ Working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents.

+ Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes but is not limited to. head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
