Interior Designer/joinery Detailer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed joinery/shop drawings for custom furniture, cabinetry, and interior fit-out components using AutoCAD or similar software Translate design concepts into accurate and buildable technical drawings Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and workshop teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy Conduct site visits and take precise measurements when required Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications Maintain project documentation, drawing logs, and version control Support the design team with 2D visualizations and material specifications when needed Suggest innovative solutions and material applications to improve design and functionality
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design and joinery detailing (preferably in construction or fit-out companies) Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other visualization tools is a plus Strong understanding of materials, joinery construction methods, and production processes Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
