Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

Lead and manage a team of designers and draftsmen, ensuring efficient workflow, strong collaboration, and high team morale. Provide mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to support team development.

Project Management

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of interior design and drawing projects, ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative design solutions.

Design Expertise

Create and review high-quality designs, ensuring alignment with project guidelines and client objectives. Offer creative direction and design input throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Proficiency

Guide the team in using industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp, and 3D Studio Max. Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Communication

Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and proposed solutions. Ensure all team members are aligned with project goals, expectations, and timelines.

Process Improvement

Continuously evaluate and improve design workflows and internal processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Graphic Design, or a related field. Relevant design certifications are required.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of technical/design experience in a professional environment. At least 2 years of experience in a team leadership or managerial role.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp, and 3D Studio Max. Strong understanding of spatial planning, design principles, and rendering techniques.

Language Skills

Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Soft Skills

Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills. Creative problem-solving and sound decision-making capabilities.
