Rare opportunity for an IP & Trademark Associate to join one of the best IP teams across the Middle East!
The practice is in the areas of intellectual property and technology, with particular focus on trade mark and copyright prosecution and infringement and IP commercialisation services in both national and international transactions across a wide range of sectors including consumer goods, food and beverages, and entertainment. The also regularly advices on technology and brand licensing, advertising and domain name dispute resolution matters.
Candidates qualified in UK, Ireland, Aus, NZ, US, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Africa & France are encouraged to apply (regional experience would be a plus).
Key Responsibilities:

• 3 - 6 PQE obtained in a comparable environment.
• Must be admitted in a common law jurisdiction preferably trained and qualified with a prestigious international law firm.
• Regional experience is preferred but also open to candidates based abroad.
• Strong commercial awareness - but most importantly a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in Commercial IP .
• High standard of client care for existing clients at the highest level.
• Enthusiasm to market to clients.
• Knowledge of key areas of the law by providing clear, precise, practical advice.
• Excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent.
• Clear understanding of the operation and structure of a top law firm.
