Job Description

Qualifications:

Civil Engineer with prior experience in integrated public transport systems, including private vehicles, buses, trains, metro, taxis, and electric or manual bicycles. Master's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transport Planning. Minimum of 10 years of regional and international experience in integrated public transport, preferably within GCC countries. Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

Develop strategies and plans for integrated public transport aligned with the country's demographic and economic growth. Prepare and oversee the implementation of plans related to integrating public transport modes into one network. Supervise the electronic linkage system for public transport and provide technical support to the team. Manage integrated and sustainable public transport projects and prepare monthly reports on challenges and mitigation measures to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion. Participate in feasibility studies and assist in preparing terms of reference for integrated public transport projects, including assessing private sector participation opportunities. Review and evaluate topics referred by the department director and assess project economic feasibility. * Manage consultants, partners, and contractors daily, measure their performance, monitor outputs, and prepare related reports.
