Job Summary
IIQAF is looking for an experienced Insurance Verification Representative to join our team and help our organization provide exceptional customer service. The Insurance Verification Representative will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage and benefits for our customers and assisting them in navigating their insurance options.
This individual will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a strong working knowledge of medical insurance policies, and a commitment to providing high quality customer service. The Insurance Verification Representative will review patient data and insurance information to ensure accuracy, check for any changes in patient plan information, update insurance records in our system, and maintain updated knowledge of new policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance eligibility and coverage information
- Assist customers in navigating their insurance and health plan options
- Resolve issues with insurance disputes and wrong eligibility determinations
- Maintain current knowledge of changes in personal health plan policies and procedures
- Always maintain the highest levels of accuracy and customer service
- Must have at least 1 years of experience in customer service and/or insurance industry
- Knowledgeable in health insurance, medical plans, and procedure codes
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask
- Ability to adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and policies
- Basic computer proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Office
