The Insurance Manager role is responsible for managing and overseeing all insurance-related processes across the organization in Dubai, UAE. This position ensures comprehensive risk coverage, effective claims management, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization across group medical, property, liability, motor fleet, marine, and other insurance classes while supporting business continuity and stakeholder confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end insurance requirements for the entire group across all business units.
• Review insurance policies to ensure adequate and compliant coverage is in place.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate exposure.
• Coordinate annual policy renewals, including collection and validation of asset and stock values.
• Manage claims end-to-end, maintaining accurate trackers and resolving discrepancies with insurers.
• Identify uninsured risks and implement actions to ensure full legal and regulatory compliance.
• Perform cost and risk analysis prior to policy placement and present recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor monthly renewals to ensure timely coverage continuity across all policies.
• Conduct quarterly risk inspections across sites, warehouses, outlets, and offices to verify safety controls.
• Reconcile statements of accounts and cascade relevant information to internal stakeholders.
• Raise and resolve disputes with insurers related to claims and settlements.
• Deliver employee workshops explaining medical insurance benefits and coverage details.

Ideal Profile

• Strong knowledge of insurance products, claims processes, and industry regulations.
• Experience in corporate insurance management, risk assessment, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with insurance systems and CRM tools is an advantage.
• High attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting accuracy.
• Ability to assess complex risk scenarios and develop practical mitigation solutions.
• Effective communication skills to engage internal teams, insurers, and senior stakeholders.
