QAR 14,000 per month (All Inclusive of benefits and allowances)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Instrumentation Engineer - Commissioning

to support our client's prestigious

PLC-based EPC project with Qatar Energy

in Dukhan, Qatar. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commissioning, testing, and validation of instrumentation systems, ensuring they meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform commissioning of field instrumentation and control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA) as per project standards and client specifications. Execute loop checks, functional testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems. Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and QA/QC teams to ensure system compliance. Develop and review commissioning procedures, method statements, and checklists. Ensure all documentation, calibration reports, and certifications are properly completed and filed. Participate in FAT/SAT activities and technical meetings with QatarEnergy and project stakeholders. Ensure HSE standards are followed strictly during commissioning activities. Provide technical support during handover and startup phases.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in instrumentation engineering, Electronics, or related field. Minimum

5-8 years

of relevant experience in the

Oil & Gas

industry, with strong exposure to

PLC-based systems

. Proven experience in

commissioning activities for EPC projects

. Knowledge of international standards (IEC, ISA, etc.) related to instrumentation. Prior experience working with or on projects involving

QatarEnergy (formerly QP)

is highly preferred. Strong understanding of process control systems and safety instrumentation. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Must be currently available in

Qatar

with a valid QID .
