Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise maintenance activities for instrument and control systems to ensure reliable plant operations
• Support operations and maintenance teams during equipment testing, troubleshooting, routine surveillance, and start-up activities
• Coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration between operations and maintenance functions
• Provide field-level technical support for critical maintenance activities to minimize downtime and restore equipment availability
• Evaluate, allocate, and arrange manpower for preventive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance activities
• Assess workload, backlog, and work plans and coordinate with relevant sections to ensure timely completion
• Monitor and control availability of materials, spare parts, consumables, and tools to support uninterrupted maintenance execution
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and unplanned shutdowns and recommend corrective actions
• Provide inputs for upcoming major maintenance, system upgrades, and obsolescence management aligned with rolling business plans
• Support development, implementation, and commissioning of new projects related to instrumentation and control systems
• Participate in defining technical requirements, evaluating technical bids, and inspecting materials upon receipt
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and ADNOC requirements

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering and maintenance within a large industrial organization
• Prior experience in oil and gas or heavy industrial environments is preferred

Skills Set

• Strong knowledge of plant instrumentation, control systems, and maintenance practices
• Ability to manage maintenance teams, contractors, and multi-disciplinary coordination
• Experience in troubleshooting, reliability improvement, and failure analysis
• High awareness of HSE requirements, international standards, and ADNOC Codes of Practice
