Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare scope of work documents for engineering consultants and EPC contractors for project execution.
  • Review and validate engineering studies and design work prepared by consultants, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and standards.
  • Review and approve instrumentation and control drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Perform engineering calculations for design verification, optimization, and system performance validation.
  • Ensure application of state-of-the-art technologies and value-added engineering throughout project phases.
  • Provide updates and inputs to engineering procedures, company standards, design philosophies, and technical guidelines.
  • Coordinate with other discipline engineers, business units, operations, and contractors to manage technical interfaces and resolve issues.
  • Act as an in-house technical authority for troubleshooting and complex problem resolution.
  • Review and approve vendor or supplier deviations and non-compliance requests related to company specifications and standards.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Control Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering within oil and gas or industrial environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of control systems, instrumentation standards, design calculations, and engineering best practices.
  • Skilled in reviewing engineering deliverables and managing multi-discipline design interfaces.
  • Ability to apply advanced technologies and promote value engineering.
  • Strong coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
