Conduct quality inspection for production related parts. Determine condition of engine parts as to: repair, scrap, or serviceability based on EthosEnergy\'s designated inspection criteria. Work with Engineering to determine applicable repair work scopes for parts requiring repair. Work with Vendors through technical repair issues.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct the disposition of incoming equipment, ensure the smooth flow of material and coordination with vendors in support of workshop overhaul activities, and provide in-process quality control support to production.
Make informed decisions on the routing of parts for repair using EthosEnergy specifications/criteria/procedures/tolerances as guidelines.
Perform precise measurements using different precision measuring equipment: Verniers, Calipers, Micrometers, Depth Gauges, run-out fixtures, etc.
Carryout detailed inspections of parts.
Conducts receipt inspections of repaired components.
Conduct applicable data entries in ERP system (iFlight) for the production receipt of all repair components.
Sign-off of inspection/hold.

Experience
Previous experience in quality inspection related activities for API6A, API16A, API 16C, API5CT, API 7-1, pressure control equipment specially BOPs and/or rotating equipment preferred
Education Requirements
High school diploma, or Mechanical Engineering degree (preferred) CWI / CSWIP BGAS
Physical Requirements
Light physical effort
Sufficient physical ability to work in an office setting and operate office equipment
May require travel across the Middle East and GCC countries
