As the QHSE Specialist you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day development, maintenance, and execution of the Quality and HSSE compliance programs at the EthosEnergy Abu Dhabi facility. The role also requires you to facilitate implementation within the Middle East region of new Quality and HSSE programs, report on compliance with existing programs. Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality and HSSE Management processes, complying with all applicable requirements and provide the leadership related to Service Excellence for the Middle East Operations. You will ensure the company is able to deliver consistent and profitable growth through the application and continuous improvement and provide professional QA support to the operational business unit ensuring the maintenance of a Quality Management System and application of the organisational Quality Policy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leading QC team in performing the day today activities in Workshop and providing Technical assistance on Site.
  • In Charge for sending Equipment for Calibration and Maintaining Equipment\'s Register.
  • Coordinating in-house calibration activities in workshop.
  • Overlooking the Welding activities in Workshop, Designing, Preparing and Maintaining WPS, PQR, and WPQ according to ASME IX, API 6A.
  • Inspection of Welding Joints.
  • Welder re-validation (bi- annual)
  • Reviewing the Quality documents, procedures, pressure test certificates, GA Drawings, final documentation etc on daily basis and issuing the Certificate of Conformance/Compliance for all the jobs.
  • Preparing Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
  • Guiding Inspection team in Repair/Rework Recommendations for Well Head & Drill through Equipment like BOPs (Single Ram, Double Ram, Annular, Wire Line) Drilling spools, Christmas Tree, API 6A/ 16A/16C /5CT/ 7-1, Products like Studded Blocks, Drilling Spools, Crossovers, Pipes, PUP Joints, etc.
  • Reporting any non-conformance to Higher authorities and assisting QHSE Manager to conclude the Root Cause Analysis & Corrective actions on NC Jobs.
  • Assist QHSE Manager in API Q1 & ISO Audits & System Audits and for the business unit.
  • In charge of conducting all the NDT Process RT, UT, MPT, PT, PMI.
  • Preparing, maintain and review of routine and non-routine jobs method statements.
  • Preparation of Day-to-Day activity reports \xe2\x80\x93 Quality Package (NDE (MPI, LP, RT (Review of Film and Certs.) UT), Hardness, Pressure Test, Heat Treatment & PWHT (Review Reports), Inspection Reports.
  • Issuing Permits to Work, Risk Assessment, investigates accidents of serious potential, Incident investigation, Incident report, Recommends and advises supervisory personnel on general safety matters, prepares reports of all inspections to document conditions found and corrective action recommended, Weekly, Provides training as required; Assists in conducting safety meetings, first aid and Instruction, Provide Tool Box meetings.
  • Arranging 3rd party inspection for all Lifting gears (bi-annual), Overhead cranes, forklifts etc. (Annually)
  • Co-ordinating with 3rd Party Fire & Safety maintenance contractor for inspection.
  • Supporting PRO in coordination of Civil Defence Inspection in facility for License renewal.
  • Raising PR in system for all QC related activities.
  • Drive compliance with internal policies, procedures, and plans as well as applicable external HSSE regulatory programs.
  • Support development and rollout of QHSE strategic plans, policies, procedures, and initiatives in alignment with the EthosEnergy QHSE Standards and annual improvement plans.
  • Support BU leaders/facility managers/project managers to establish annual site performance goals and objectives.
  • Support QHSE execution in the Middle East Region and ensure project specific mobilization plans are in place and in compliance with the EthosEnergy HSSE standards, applicable customer requirements, and local, state, country, HSSE regulations.
  • Manage the health and safety training programme, identifying and developing applicable training curriculums.
  • Ensure compliance with EE Security Risk Management procedure within the Middle East Region
  • The Management Representative for driving Service Excellence principles and Quality Management
  • System for Middle East operations and ensure the processes needed for Quality Management are established, implemented, and maintained.
  • Facilitate and lead the Management Team in implementation of data driven process improvements focused on improving customer loyalty yielding business growth.
  • Serve as the Service Excellence subject matter expert for the business unit training and mentoring management, all employees, the process owners and improvement teams.
  • Ensure initiation of action(s) to minimize the likelihood of the occurrence of nonconformities.
  • Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
  • Assist / advise on a preparation of Quality Plan / Inspection of test plan.
  • Controls and updates the QA documents and records, prepare monthly QMS reports
  • Conduct Periodic Quality system audits for the business units across the region.
  • Assist in supplier evaluation of re-evaluation processes
  • API project lead for new Monogram application includes Product and process review, design pack.
  • To support maintaining the API standards/specifications pertaining to product quality.


Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Expert;
  • Hands on experience in managing Management Systems in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 / API Spec Q1 ISO 14001:2004 ISO 45001 standards.
  • Hands on experience in API 6A, 16A, 5CT, 16C, 7-1 products.
  • Hands on experience in driving process improvements
  • Experience in leading an audit team for Internal and External audits Knowledge in Operational
  • Hazards and controls.
  • Ability to carry out risk assessments and provide improvement recommendations.
  • Product and process knowledge.
  • Ability to execute and implement procedures.
  • Review and update / update HSSE procedures.
  • Effectively deliver QHSE training.
  • Carry our effective internal QHSE audits Proficient;
  • Strong indirect management and leadership skills
  • Understanding and acting on need to elevate HSSEQ & SE issues and concerns to management.
  • Sound Knowledge of Operational hazards and controls.
  • Sound Knowledge International HSSEQ standards.
  • Ability to train the people on HSSEQ & SE aspects.

Experience

  • Prior Business Management Leadership Experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principle and intent of ISO 9001 and API Q1 , API 6A, API 16A, API 16C, API 5CT , API 7-1.
  • Certified welding inspector.


Education Requirements

  • B.S engineering with 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a process engineer. Prefer industrial experience in heavy industry versus traditional process industries.
