Inspection Engineer Piping
Job Description
B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed and recognized institute.
Minimum 15+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Strong working knowledge of:
+ ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1
+ ASME Section VIII Division 1
+ ASME Section V
Experience with GRP/GRE and HDPE piping systems is an advantage.
API 570 certification is highly preferred.
Familiarity with EPC quality documentation and inspection workflows.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Previous experience on Leading Inspection Team
Key Responsibilities
Report to the Senior Inspection Engineer.
Review and comment on EPC quality documents including NDT procedures, test packs, ITPs, WPSs, and PQRs.
Ensure timely close-out of snags and punch points.
Verify implementation of corrective and preventive actions for non-conformities.
Review final quality dossiers and maintain backups of completed documentation.
* Oversee construction quality for piping discipline, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
