Job Summary: PolyAnalytik Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our Technical Sales and Marketing team to focus on generating new accounts for analytical services and instrumentation sales. We are looking for enthusiasm and sales driven professional that would contribute to our sales initiative, productivity, and client engagement while acting as a liaison between clients and Accounts Managers. The candidate will be calling on manufacturing organizations, academic laboratories, polymer characterization labs, and independent chemical analysis facilities to help them find the most efficient chromatography solutions. Responsibilities:
Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Convey PolyAnalytik Inc.\xe2\x80\x99s services to new clients in clear and scientific language.
Understanding client\xe2\x80\x99s needs and requirements and act as a liaison between Account Managers and Clients
Transfer of qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Manager for further development and closure.
Follow up on current and past clients for repeat business activities.
Create new lists of industries and businesses that can utilize analytical services offered by PolyAnalytik Inc.
Establish and maintain client relationships, communications with clinets and co-workers to provide technical and scientific information.
Maintain social media presence and connect with current and new clients to increase lead generation.
Work closely with the Marketing Coordinator to develop and publish marketing and sales materials.
Qualifications:
Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Science or Engineering, preferably in polymer chemistry and/or material science
Strong knowledge and experience in chemistry and material sciences
Scientific knowledge and understanding of analytical techniques such as physical, thermal, chemical, and spectroscopic analysis is an asset
Knowledge in inside sales tasks
Strong ability to determine project planning
Self-motivation and an enthusiastic personality is a must
Excellent project and time management skills
Ability to work independently and part of a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess excellent time management skills to manage multiple projects at once
Ability to travel across North America for scientific conferences and meetings if required
