Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Infrastructure Project Manager

to lead a critical

API Upgrade Program

. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical understanding of infrastructure and API ecosystems, combined with exceptional project delivery skills. The successful candidate will ensure seamless planning, governance, and execution of the program while engaging stakeholders across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

Program Delivery:

Own end-to-end delivery of the API upgrade program, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.

Planning & Scheduling:

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to meet milestones and deadlines.

Project Governance:

Implement and maintain robust governance frameworks, including risk management, compliance, and reporting mechanisms.

Stakeholder Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Communication Excellence:

Produce high-quality written documentation (status reports, executive summaries, technical briefs) and deliver compelling presentations to senior leadership.

Issue Resolution:

Proactively identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution.

Collaboration:

Work closely with engineering, architecture, and operations teams to ensure technical feasibility and smooth implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum 8+ years in infrastructure project management, with proven success in delivering complex technology programs.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of API frameworks, integration patterns, and infrastructure components.

Project Management Expertise:

Proficiency in planning, governance, and delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).

Communication Skills:

Exceptional written and oral communication skills; ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Leadership:

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Tools:

Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence) and reporting dashboards.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification. Experience in large-scale API migration or upgrade programs. * Background in financial services technology.
