Key Responsibilities
Deliver the API upgrade program end to end, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation frameworks to meet milestones.
Establish and maintain effective governance and reporting mechanisms including risk tracking and compliance documentation.
Engage and manage internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the program.
Prepare high-quality project documentation such as executive reports, technical summaries, and presentations for senior leadership.
Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies early, proposing mitigation and contingency plans.
Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and operations teams to ensure technical feasibility and smooth implementation.
Monitor project progress using relevant KPIs and ensure timely escalation of blockers or delays.
Ensure adherence to change control, quality assurance, and release management standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience managing infrastructure and technology programs.
Strong understanding of API frameworks, integration patterns, and key infrastructure components.
Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
Proven leadership in managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Confluence for project tracking and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
Experience leading large-scale API migration or upgrade programs.
Background in financial services or enterprise technology environments.
