Role Summary
The Infrastructure Inspector - Dry Utilities is responsible for inspecting dry utility works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE regulations. The role requires strong technical knowledge, field inspection experience, and coordination with project teams and contractors.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections for dry utility works including power, telecom, and gas infrastructure
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and local authority requirements
• Inspect new installations and assess existing dry utility infrastructure conditions
• Prepare detailed inspection reports identifying non-conformances and corrective actions
• Monitor contractor workmanship, materials, and installation methods
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve site issues
• Review utility layouts and technical drawings to confirm correct implementation
• Participate in coordination meetings and provide technical input on dry utility matters
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and quality control requirements on site
• Stay updated on applicable codes, standards, and regulatory changes related to dry utilities

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure inspection with focus on dry utilities
• Strong knowledge of electrical, telecommunications, and gas utility systems
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and local authority regulations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and utility layouts
• Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills
• Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Willingness to work on site and travel within Abu Dhabi as required
