Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary infrastructure design teams across roads and utilities projects
• Oversee the full design lifecycle from concept development through tender stage delivery
• Coordinate closely with clients, statutory authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure design alignment
• Establish and manage design briefs, delivery programs, timelines, and resource plans
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and instruction to engineering and design teams
• Ensure design deliverables meet program requirements, quality standards, and budget objectives
• Review design reports, drawings, specifications, and final technical documents before submission
• Manage interface coordination across all engineering disciplines involved in design delivery
• Identify design risks, constructability issues, and technical limitations, proposing effective solutions
• Monitor change management processes and assess impacts on design scope and schedule
• Support the setup and continuous improvement of delivery tools, systems, and procedures
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for project directors and clients
• Contribute to project bidding activities and support regional resource development

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university with relevant professional certifications
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in roads and infrastructure design within a consulting environment
• Strong background in design management and project management for master planning and mixed-use developments
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client relationships
• Excellent communication skills with strong reporting and presentation capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
• Working knowledge of Primavera, Autodesk Civil 3D, Esri GIS, and Bentley software
• Familiarity with BIM practices for roads and infrastructure projects
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing complex design programs
