Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the Project Delivery Design Team(s) in day to day BIM implementation activities Provide progress and performance updates on fortnightly and monthly basis. Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities Support the deployment (hardware and software) and provide hands-on BIM software training for Project team members Perform Quality Assurance and Control checks on models and maintain tracker (both hard and soft copies) to confirm geometrical and non-geometrical information compliance with the Project's design and BIM requirements Review, monitor and report on the development of clash interference and fully coordinated models Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs Prepare own discipline model and/or content for internal reviews and coordination meetings Supervise the BIM modelers, collaborate and coordinate with the Design Team design-changes and model challenges Prepare models and reports for constructability analysis Validate and export model geometry and data to schedules for internal design and commercial activities KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE: Minimum 7+ years experience as BIM Coordinator on Infrastructure Project(s) ideally in GCC Good experience in Design Consultancy Possess excellent oral communication skills with an ability to form effective relationships with Project Delivery Team, Client (Appointing Party), and Contractor (Lead Appointed Party) under time pressure EDUCATION & TRAINING: Minimum Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
