We are seeking an Infection Control Officer to oversee infection prevention and control measures in a healthcare setting. The role involves developing policies, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with local and international infection control standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to patient safety.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement infection prevention and control policies.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with infection control guidelines.
Train healthcare staff on infection control protocols and best practices.
Monitor and analyze infection data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Investigate infection outbreaks and implement containment strategies.
Ensure adherence to local and international infection control regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient safety and hygiene practices.
Keep up-to-date with emerging infectious diseases and new prevention techniques.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Nursing, Microbiology, Public Health, or a related field.
MOH / DHA / HAAD License /and Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in infection control in a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of infection control standards and healthcare regulations.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals and hospital staff.
