About the Role



Pegasus Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and qualified

Infection Control Nurse

to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, implementing, and monitoring infection prevention and control programs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities



Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control (IPC) policies and procedures in accordance with DHA and university standards. Conduct infection surveillance and audits across campus facilities and clinical areas. Provide infection control training and education to healthcare staff, students, and other personnel. Investigate infection outbreaks and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Ensure compliance with infection control standards during all clinical and laboratory operations. Collaborate with the university health center, safety officers, and management to promote overall campus health and hygiene. Maintain accurate documentation and prepare regular reports on infection control indicators and compliance levels.

Requirements



Valid DHA License/Eligibility as a Registered Nurse. Certification or formal training in Infection Control preferred. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in infection control or hospital/clinic nursing. Strong understanding of infection prevention principles, hygiene standards, and DHA regulations. Excellent communication, training, and organizational skills.
