Industrial Engineer

with expertise in joinery manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency, quality, and cost control.

Responsibilities

Analyze joinery production processes, workflows, and material usage to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Develop and implement optimized layouts for machines, cutting areas, assembly, and finishing sections in the joinery factory. Prepare cutting lists, production schedules, and time studies to support effective planning. Monitor resource utilization (wood, veneers, MDF, hardware, etc.) and recommend cost-saving measures. Standardize production methods and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and sustainability standards. Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time project delivery. Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques tailored to joinery works. Evaluate manpower requirements and provide suggestions for workforce productivity improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. Proven experience in

joinery, woodworking, or interior fit-out industry

. Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and cost control in joinery. Proficiency in AutoCAD, ERP systems, and MS Office. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with design and factory teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in CNC machinery, automated joinery production lines, or advanced woodworking technologies. Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management
