to join our quarry operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining electrical systems and controls for heavy machinery in a quarry or mining environment. Experience working in Quarry or mining operation is required.
Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems on quarry processing equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults in crushers, conveyors, pumps, and plant infrastructure.
Work with control panels, VFDs, PLCs, and motor systems.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and quarry regulations.
Requirements:
Licensed Industrial Electrician (or equivalent certification).
3+ years of experience in a quarry, mining, or heavy industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of 480V and higher electrical systems.
Familiarity with PLCs and automated systems an asset.
Ability to work in outdoor, rugged quarry conditions.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
